I love finding the perfect gift for people and seeing how it delights them. In our digital age, we’ve lost the closeness of appreciating others via small tokens and handwritten notes.
A few years back, I wanted to get a small gift for a colleague who had gotten a promotion. I looked at gift baskets, but they were awful. I found a couple of gift box companies, but I realized I would have to spend a minimum of $50 (not including shipping and tax) just to get it to her. I liked her, but not that much. Instead, I had some items form a craft market I had just bought. So I threw everything into a gorgeous box, added a handwritten note, and sent it off. Just like that, the idea for Diletto was born.
Diletto aims to bring the joy back from receiving, not just birthday gifts, but thank you, congratulations, and just because gifts, as well.
I hope you will join me in supporting the many wonderful and talented women who make the products we sell.
